Adhesive coating prosess is a performed by applying hot and molten adhesive on the carrier. Generally, the coating is made by applying adhesive on PE foam, OPP, PET or PP materials. For some applications adhesive can coated for different products which are usefull for machine working conditions. The adhesive applied on the carrier is then dried by passing through the ovens. For double-sided tapes, this process is done on both surfaces, respectively. Then it is combined with a liner and made into jumbo rolls. Another method for the adhesive coating process is the spraying method. In this method, the adhesive is pulled from the barrel on the tape carrier and sprayed on the surface equally with the spray heads. Spray nozzles are adjusted so that equal amounts of adhesive are applied to M2. The application process is suitable for products with hot melt adhesive. It does not require baking and provides fast drying. The adhesive coated surface is then covered with silicone paper. Adhesive is applied to the other side with the same method. Sometimes adhesive is applied on the siliconized paper and then transferred to the carrier material. All these processes are carried out at the facility in Turkey.
